Our Chair at the 51st German Food Chemistry Days in Bonn

From 21-23 August, the annual German Food Chemistry Days took place at the Institute of Nutrition and Food Sciences at the University of Bonn.

Our department was represented by PostDoc Sophie Scheibenzuber and PhD student Sarah Schneidemann-Bostelmann. Scheibenzuber presented the latest findings of her EU project "Provide", which focuses on by-products. In a focus group study, the acceptance of industrial by-products by consumers was determined. Schneidemann-Bostelmann presented the first results of a project of her doctoral thesis, which revolves around the analysis of Fusarium, Alternaria and Aflatoxins in vegan substitute products.
