Scientific Station for Brewing

Yesterday evening we were invited by the Scientific Station for Brewing in Munich e.V. to the Spaten Brewery for their annual meeting. There we were able to present the successful results of the project approved last year. Our PhD students Lisa Obermaier and Simone Jahner presented the results on vitamin B6 and folate concentration during the brewing process.

Many thanks to the scientific station for again approving our application to increase the folate and B6 content in non-alcoholic beers (together with Dr. Martina Gastl from the Weihenstephan Research Center for Brewing and Food Quality).
